Sleip app horse
Main Objective:
Users will notice the asymmetries in the horse's legs displayed in the overview for each analysis they conduct in the app. This feature will help them formulate a care plan. We needed to identify the ideal horse type for our application — the image should embody our brand while maintaining a light and modern feel, and be reusable as a visual aid on the app's summary page.
“The horse should embody a typical “light sport horse” physique. We are looking for a light warmblood riding horse that shares characteristics with both Thoroughbreds and Quarter horses, as these represent the three largest populations among our users. The legs must be strategically positioned on the summary page to effectively display the push-off and impact arrows.

With clear directions from vets and marketing we decided what type of horse would represent our overview horse. This horse is shown in the overview card of the analysis and has the highest hierarchy. The drawing indicates which legs have the largest asymmetry.

Conclusion:
- The type of horse should be a Warmblood but quite similar to a Thoroughbred or Quarter horse.
- The type of illustration decided upon is an outlined, drawn horse that would feel modern in our application.
- The horse could be re-used through the application and possibly used with marketing materials.
To help users understand how to create recordings, I developed visual aids featuring different illustrations for each type, including both straight line and longe direction. In the guide content I created visualisations to clarify complex contexts.
